Lovely SW MICHIGAN summers/FL Winters > Live-in Personal Caregiver Companion Wanted

Looking for a live-in, non Smoking care giver for 69 yr old lady with debilitating degenerative condition MSA. Currently using a power wheel chair this lady has need of all the basics. We've experienced the institutional environment and we are opting now to go with a personal care giver. Mom requires lots of personal attention. A former teacher who likes intelligent people around her, she loves cards and board games and has very comfortable environments to offer her care giver. Because of her wheel chair she is in a spacious 2 bedroom place in MI and has a place in FL as well. She does not have much in the way of actual medical needs. She needs reminders to take her medicines.

Personal supervised individual care will include bathing, dressing, ambulation, and simple physical exercises. This non medically trained Lady will offer support services to my Mom who cannot manage for herself. This is a live-in position where you would take charge of running the home. Included in the responsibilities would be light housekeeping, laundry, shopping, transportation to appointments and activities (via Mom's car) and nutritious meal preparation. She has no pets and can not offer housing to any pets (Sorry).

A competitive family direct compensation is offered for this 24/7 position. Scheduling will include days off and recognition of consistent services rendered. Mostly a SW MI living environment, but some of the Winter in FL - health permitting.
