In addition, the caregiver will schedule appointments, and accompany our mother on appointments and social activities.

Caregiver Wanted for my mother in Churchland, VA.

I am looking for a caregiver for my mother who has cancer. Duties will include giving meds, assistance with bathing, light daily house cleaning, picking up meds, driving to doctors appointments, grocery shopping and preparing meals. I need someone who is able to leave their own problems at home (she has terminal cancer, she does not need any added worries from her caregiver), will work well with the other caregivers and be very dependable.

I will need someone to work Saturday and Sunday 12 hours a day and perhaps some other weekday mornings and evenings. There may be some weeks when she is feeling well, and will be gone to her beach house. This happens about 4 weeks a year. So if you can not afford to go a week without pay at short notice, this may not be for you. There is no guaranty of hours you will work per week, or length of this position due to mother's illness. My mother is a very upbeat person, and very easy to get along with. She is currently able to feed, dress, and bathe on her own. My major concern is that she will suffer a fall. The pay is $10. an hour and is paid weekly.

The child is two-years-old and is diagnosed with server Autism. He has very limited communication and social skills, and has trouble with transition from one activity to the next. He is very sweet and very cute, but does tend to have emotional meltdowns when frustration or overwhelming situations arise. He loves to watch TV, stack blocks, push cars, climb counters and furniture, play with balls and bubbles, and wrestle around the house. We have three other children in the house, along with a cat and a dog. He has also been diagnosed with epilepsy and asthma. He requires a lot of attention and constant medical review and follow-up. He will be starting school in November, and is currently in some form of therapy four days a week.

Live-in Care Provider Needed for nice, elderly lady, Woodbridge, VA.

We re looking for a live-in careprovider for my mother-in-law who is currently in a rehab center but we expect to be released soon. We have interviewed several candidates and feel we must look for one caregiver to live in and then hire a backup when the primary needs vacation time. I am looking for an active, outgoing female who is over 18 years old to provide attendant care for my sweet, funny and well behaved 14 year old son who has developmental delays. The job involves providing assistance with simple meal preparation, laundry, community outings, homework, etc.

Perfect for a college student who goes to school during the early part of the day. Hours are Monday (either 1 pm or 2:30 pm to 6:30 or 8:30 pm) Tuesday to Friday from approximately 2:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The start time of 2:30 pm during the school year unfortunately is not flexible due to my work schedule. You can work as little as 20 hours a week or up to 40-45 per week during the school year. Morning and weekend hours are also available. Summer hours will vary but will mainly be day hours and typically start around 10:30 am.

In order to qualify for this job, you must:
