- Description: I have worked in this field for 13 yrs. It all started with working with my Grandfather who was a stroke victim. I came to live with my grandmother, I helped her in caring for my grandfather. As the years went by I have cared for the elderly who have had Strokes, Altzhiemer's, Dementia, Wheelchair bound, Blind, Deaf, Quadraplegic, Terminal Illnesses,
Mh/Mr & Autistic. I have knowledge in G- Tube Feeding including, Hanging a Feeding Bag & setting the food Rate. Taking the Food Volume count, Changing a colostemy Bag, Passing medications and giving med reminders,laundry, Housekeeping, Medication Documentation. Live-In 24 hr care. All Personal Hygiene skills, Shaving, Bathing, Etc. With my experience I know I can benefit an employer, as I know what it takes to be a good caregiver.
